We offer Standard English Braille or Unified English Braille Code/UEB.
We offer the standard Contracted (Grade 2-most often used) and Uncontracted braille (Grade 1-spelled out) should you request that format.
One page of most print materials equals approximately 3 Braille pages.
Documents are reviewed thoroughly prior to providing a cost estimate, start date and turn-around time-frame. Each document is unique in regards to the time it takes to transcribe/format and emboss. Braille copies of the original transcribed document are offered at a reduced price!
Elementary Education Nemeth Code (grades K-3): $2.50 per page for embossing of non-graphic Nemeth (math) worksheets/materials. Estimates will be provided for detailed Nemeth worksheets/materials.
Binding options include the following:
- Stapling or paperclipped
- Binding: $8.00 (per volume) which includes assembly, binding and labeling in print and Braille. Volumes are bound using 19-ring plastic combs and plastic front and back opaque poly-covers for durability.
Interlining Service: Are completed in permanent black thin tip marker or pencil.
Minimum document fee is $10.00
Braille materials may be sent to you via “Free Matter” if you are eligible to use these services. There are additional shipping options that can be discussed when placing your order. Shipping costs will be added to the final invoice.
Free estimates are provided for your consideration. Materials may be sent via e-mail attachment, hard copy or on a thumb drive. Braille transcription/embossing will begin upon receipt of your approval and our acceptance of your project.
